About James MathGov
Research belongs in a long human conversation. We inherit knowledge and responsibility from earlier generations and develop it for those still to come.
Research and stewardship
James MathGov is an educator and independent researcher helping develop, explain and steward MathGov and RippleLogic: a research programme exploring how to make decisions more grounded in reality, protective of rights, attentive to serious risks and accountable to the people and beings affected.
A shared intellectual inheritance
These ideas draw on scholarship, historical research, lived experience, criticism and work by many people. Stewardship means making present editorial decisions answerable and inviting independent review. It does not claim ownership over all the knowledge from which the research emerged.
Historical works, publisher bylines and individual file licenses remain correctly attributed. We welcome contributions and lawful reuse under the applicable terms.
